After a couple of minor delays Small Town Pistols held their CD Release Party for “Pistology” on Tuesday night at The Gibson Guitar Lounge. Amanda and Tyler were in fine form and the small crowd of around 100 were happy to see the band.
The intimate venue was perfect for this group which included family and friends, contest winners and some media.
We’ve gotten used to some very short sets at these parties, but this was not the case here. They played a good selection of the new album including their CMAO award winning song “I Only Smoke When I Drink”. And if you’re wondering what we think of the new album, we love it!

The Weezer cover of Say It Isn’t So was a wonderful surprise and they killed it. We’re glad Amanda’s laryngitis has cleared up and we think they were worth waiting for.
