The City of Timmins announce the lineup for what promises to be one of the biggest summer festivals of 2018! Stars & Thunder Festival – presented by Goldcorp – Porcupine Gold Mines, will see a spectacular lineup, leading up to the performance of Canadian Rock Legend Bryan Adams.

Following last year’s success, the City of Timmins has decided to embark on the second annual Stars & Thunder Festival, with another amazing eight days of live music. In addition, four of the nights’ performances will be followed by international fireworks displays by teams representing Brazil, Finland, China and the host Team Canada – David Whysall International Fireworks Inc. The festival committee is also excited to work with renowned promoter Ron Sakamoto once again, who has helped build a lineup that will be the buzz of 2018!

The festival will kick off on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day (Sunday, June 24), with an incredible lineup, and promises to rock Timmins into Canada Day on Sunday, July 1 with performances from Bryan Adams, Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good, and Sons of Maxwell. Canada Day will also have an opening ceremonies with local dignitaries and Young Eagle Singers and Eagle Dancers. Beverley Mahood will also be returning this year as emcee of the festival.

The entire lineup is filled with music icons and legends:
