Lee Brice is a craftsman, the kind whose boundless desire to hone his skills and relentless pursuit of perfection are matched only by his humility about the entire process. His latest, and third, album, ‘I Don’t Dance,’ is a showcase for his painstaking approach to writing and recording, with his distinctive fingerprints clearly emblazoned on every element of the album.

Released Sept. 9, 2014, ‘I Don’t Dance’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and #5 on the Billboard 200, setting the stage for Brice’s meteoric rise in the country music world.

At the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards, he was awarded two trophies in the “Single Record Of The Year” category as both artist and producer of  “I Don’t Dance.” Two weeks later, he was invited to perform “Drinking Class” on NBC’s” The Voice.”  The track not only went #1 that week but was certified RIAA Gold, marking his second RIAA certification in less than six months.

Besides his own material, he has co-written singles for Garth Brooks, Adam Gregory, Eli Young Band, and Tim McGraw. One of Brice’s compositions, Brooks’s “More Than a Memory”, was the first song ever to debut at number one on the country chart, while another, Eli Young Band’s “Crazy Girl”, was the Billboard Year-End top country song of 2011.

“Mountainfest”, presented by Fort Drum Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) will be held June 22nd on Fort Drum beginning at 1 pm! This event is free, open to the public and features Military equipment displays, children’s games, bounce houses and food & beverage concessions. Each year since 2012, AmeriCU Credit Union has held the Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert at Fort Drum to thank the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division for all they have done in valiant service to our country. The Salute to the Troops Tribute concert is FREE and open to the public and is held in conjunction with Mountainfest, Fort Drum’s annual Independence Day Celebration. Approximately 20,000 soldiers, family members, and military supporters attend the Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert each year.  Previous concerts have featured national country recording artists Jake Owen (’12), Craig Morgan (’13), Chris Cagle & Gloriana (’14), and Kip Moore (’15).
