Country fans will be on their feet at the Centrepointe Theatres stage tomorrow night when country star Gord Bamford brings his Neon Smoke tour to Ottawa.

The Juno nominated artist, and 24-time Canadian Country Music Association Awards winner will be touring with music from his new album, Neon Smoke (click here to purchase on iTunes).

“Each time I set out to make a new record my goal is to make the best record of my career and stay true to what has got me to where I am today,” says Bamford in a recent media release.

“I’ve had the opportunity of a lifetime making people all over the world sing, dance, laugh, cry & love through the power of song. I shake my head every day with the thought that I actually get to support my family doing what I love. I have watched the business change over the years and I am proud to present my best record yet. Neon Smoke is not just a single or an EP, it’s a 16 song album that will take the listener on a musical journey.”

Bamford’s journey is taking him across the country, and the January 25 show is just one stop on a 29 date Canadian tour, which travels from coast to coast, set to thrill audiences with top country sounds.

Gord Bamford is an act not to be missed. He is country through and through, has played for crowds big and small around the world. Born in Australia, Bamford moved to his mother’s native town of Lacombe, Alberta, at the age of five and put down his Canadian country roots.

As if Bamford wasn’t enough for county fans, breakout artist Aaron Goodvin will be joining him as the opening act. Goodvin is proving to be a country powerhouse in his own right with his debut single, “Knock On Wood,” being a Top 40 hit at Country radio in Canada.

This is a show that all fans of Canadian country should see.
