Friday’s have always been our favourite day of the week but since it also became the go to day for new music it’s become even better. This week we want to feature northern Ontario’s own Andrew Hyatt as he releases his debut full-length album Iron and Ashes.

Northern Ontario native Andrew Hyatt worked as an ironworker in a nickel mine in Sudbury before launching his career as a professional musician. It wasn’t long before his style of music caught the eye of Toronto’s WAX Records. Andrew’s WAX Records debut was his 2015 EP Never Back Down.

As Andrew’s popularity as an artist continues to grow in 2016 he graced the stage at CMT Music Fest where he opened for Zac Brown Band and by this summer, the summer of 2017, Andrew can be found at festivals and events across Canada including Cavendish Beach Music Festival and as part of the Friday night lineup at Boots and Hearts which also features the incredibly talented Jessica Mitchell, Kiefer Sutherland, Leaving Thomas, Drake White and headliner Keith Urban!

We had hoped to chat with Andrew prior to the release but Friday snuck up on us this week but we’ll be catching up with Andrew on the road this summer so we’ll be sure to take him up on that rain check then! Until then the album Iron and Ashes is available now on iTunes, if you like good honest country music with a bit of soul and heart you’ll want to go and pickup this album, it’s 100% worth the $9.99.

You should also go and follow Andrew on social media and let him know how much you love the album!

You can find him on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also checkout his website at www.andrewhyattmusic.com.
